In the Verkhovna Rada, there are more people’s deputies who are absentees and those who do not vote
In the Verkhovna Rada, the number of people’s deputies who systematically miss meetings or do not participate in voting has increased. The overall efficiency of work decreased in 60% of parliamentarians. About this informs “Vox Ukraine”.
The effectiveness of parliamentary factions shows different trends. For example, the “Servant of the People” faction lost three percentage points of its utility coefficient compared to the previous session, the “Voice” lost ten points, and the “Parliamentary Platform for Life and Peace” faction decreased its indicator by almost a third – from 64% to 45% .
Ten deputies received a zero efficiency rating due to systematic absenteeism or being under investigation.
“Deputies began to appear in the hall less often, the percentage of absentees increased. We see the following problem: deputies are present in the hall, the card is inserted, but they do not vote. This format of behavior has always existed, but if in 2019 it was 13%, now it is 22 %. That is, there are people’s deputies, but, in fact, they do not fulfill their task. According to the law, the deputy is obliged to press at least one button.”– said in the message “Vox Ukraine”.
