In two years, the “eOselya” program provided loans for more than UAH 17.6 billion: who is most often given loans
Compared to last year, this indicator has almost doubled and reached the mark of 800 credits every month.

Over 11,000 loans for a total amount exceeding 17.6 billion hryvnias were issued in less than two years of operation of the eOselya preferential lending program. Of them, 43%, or 4,840 loans, were issued only in the first half of 2024, informs “opendatab”.
Compared to last year, when an average of 490 loans were issued per month, in the first half of 2024 this figure has almost doubled to 800 loans per month. The record month was April 2024, when 1,008 loans were issued.

The average loan amount also increased from 1.5 million hryvnias last year to 1.7 million hryvnias this year.
The leader in terms of the average amount of loans issued was the bank “Credit Dnipro”, which, having joined the program in the second quarter of 2024, has already managed to issue 37 loans for a total amount of 94 million hryvnias.

For comparison, “Ukreximbank” and “Bank Globus” issued only 43 and 46 loans, respectively. Also, high average amounts of loans are observed at “Ukreximbank” – 2.13 million hryvnias, “Sens Bank” – 1.97 million hryvnias, and “Sky Bank” – 1.94 million hryvnias.
Scientists receive the largest average loan amount in 2024 — 1.83 million hryvnias, and teachers receive the smallest amount: 1.43 million hryvnias.
Among all borrowers under the eOselya program, the leaders in the number of loans issued are military personnel, who received 3,229 loans, or 29% of the total number. In second place are police officers with 2,433 credits, which is 22%.

After August 2023, when the program became available to all citizens of Ukraine, the share of other categories of borrowers increased from 16% in 2023 to 25.5% in 2024.
As for the type of real estate, the majority of Ukrainians (72%, or 7,992 loans) prefer the secondary housing market. Housing from the developer accounts for a quarter of loans, namely 2,803, and only 3% of mortgages were issued in the primary market, which is equivalent to 370 loans.
Geographically, almost half of all subsidized mortgages under the eOselya program were issued in Kyiv and the Kyiv region: 2,057 loans, or 18%, in Kyiv and 3,010 loans, or 27%, in the region.

Among other regions, Lviv Oblast with 641 loans, Odesa Oblast with 541 loans, and Vinnytsia Oblast with 524 loans became the leaders in terms of the number of loans issued.
