Beginning from September to December, for the first time in Ukraine, the amp football championship will be held – a new stage in the development of adaptive sports for veterans. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
This is the first national tournament of such a scale that will unite teams from different regions of the country. The competition will be held in Kyiv, Kyiv region, Lviv, Cherkassy and Ivano-Frankivsk. The first round will start on August 29-31 in the capital. The winner of the Championship will represent Ukraine in the EAFF Champions League in 2026.
10 teams from different regions will take part in the competition: “MSK Dnipro” (Cherkasy), “ Cover of AMP” (Lviv), “Shakhtar Stalevi” (Donetsk), “Bureviy” (Kyiv region), “Crusaders” (Lutsk), “ Vinnytsia AMP” (Vinnytsia), “Unbreakable” (Kharkiv), “Titans” (Zhytomyr), FC “Bartka” (Ivano-Frankivsk), “Vikings” (Ternopil).
Live broadcasts of the matches will be available on MEGOGO and the YouTube channel of the Ukrainian Football Association. The competition is organized by the Ukrainian Football Association with the support of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Mass Sports Agency of Ukraine.
Mastercard, Oschadbank, MEGOGO, Ukrzaliznytsia, adidas, Lviv, Canadian-Ukrainian Foundation and other partners joined the implementation of the initiative. The event takes place within the framework of the implementation of the Veterans Policy Strategy and the National Strategy for the Creation of a Barrier-Free Space in Ukraine, launched at the initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska.
