In Ukraine, more than 90 thousand people have already filed income declarations: more than 8 thousand of them are millionaires
During the first three months of 2026, Ukrainians filed 92 thousand declarations of income received in 2025. The total amount of declared funds reached UAH 74.3 billion. At the same time, more than 8 thousand citizens reported income exceeding UAH 1 million, who in total must pay almost UAH 1.1 billion in taxes to the State Budget. This was reported by the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
UAH 1.6 billion in personal income tax and military levy have been determined to be payable. This is UAH 560 million more than in the same period last year.
The largest amount was declared by a resident of Khmelnytskyi region. 8.3 thousand people declared income of over UAH 1 million. In total, they indicated UAH 38.2 billion in income and must pay almost UAH 1.1 billion in tax liabilities. The largest amount of taxes — over 18.3 million UAH — was determined to be payable by a resident of the Khmelnytskyi region.
Among the sources of declared income:
- inheritance and gifts — 6.6 billion UAH;
- foreign income — 3.4 billion UAH;
- sale of movable and immovable property — 1.8 billion UAH;
- rent of property — 1.2 billion UAH;
- investment income — 1.0 billion UAH;
- other types of income — 971.2 million UAH.
The largest amounts of income were declared in the following regions:
- Kyiv — 16.3 billion UAH;
- Dnipropetrovsk region — 6.6 billion UAH;
- Lviv region — 6.0 billion UAH;
- Kyiv region — 5.8 billion UAH.
More than 42 thousand citizens have already taken advantage of the tax discount. The state must return UAH 291.6 million in personal income tax to taxpayers, which is UAH 52 million more than for the same period last year.
