IT coalition transfers €10 million worth of equipment to Ukraine
Ministry of Defense of Ukraine received a batch of equipment from the IT coalition, which was financed by Luxembourg, Ireland, Belgium and Estonia. The total cost of the aid is 10 million euros.
This time transmitted:
- 6,948 laptops for units of the Armed Forces, as well as for information and communication systems “Oberig”, “Impuls” and the Medical Information System;
- 318 charging stations;
- 2,304 means of communication;
- 442 monitors, equipment for data processing centers of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces;
- network equipment for the infrastructure of ICS “Oberig”;
- routers, switches, licenses and other components for implementing software-oriented networks in the Armed Forces.
Separately, a shipment of 1,000 routers worth more than 77,000 euros arrived from Latvia.
This is the fifth delivery from the IT coalition in 2025. Earlier in January, Estonia, the Netherlands and Luxembourg transferred equipment worth 3.3 million euros, in February – 7.5 million euros, and in April – another 2 million euros.
“Thanks to the new supply from the countries of the IT coalition, we will be able to provide technical support to the units of the Armed Forces in which digital products and services are implemented. Thanks to our partners for strengthening our technological capabilities”, – noted Oksana Ferchuk, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitization.
As a reminder, the IT coalition is one of the coalitions of capabilities within the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine (“Ramstein”). It provides support to the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense in the field of IT, communications and cyber security. The coalition currently includes Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden and Japan. Estonia and Luxembourg are the leaders.
