Studio “Kvartal 95” received the “Sexist of the Year-2024” anti-award for a comedy number about the head of the Rivne TCC. About this informs “Gender in Details” publication, which is the initiator of the award.
“Congratulations to the “Kvartal 95” studio on the dishonorable victory in the “Sexist of the Year – 2024″ anti-prize! We ask the winners to contact us to receive the award – a shame-faced object, which, according to our subscribers, they should have this year.”, the message says.
The scene for which the studio received an award was shown in May 2024 and concerned the head of the Rivne TCC Oleksandr Yarmoshevich. He found himself at the center of a scandal after surveillance footage captured him kissing female colleagues in the workplace.
“Only two things remain unclear in this situation: why, according to the authors of the parody, is sexual harassment funny? But what should you wash your eyes with after watching the video, to at least somehow forgive it?”, – added the initiators of the award.
