Pivdenne-based firm may receive contract for road maintenance in Odesa district worth UAH 86 million
The State Enterprise ‘Local Road Service’ held a tender to select a contractor responsible for the operational maintenance of local public roads in Odesa region. The winner was Yug Stroy Company LLC. The relevant information was published on the Prozorro electronic platform.
The procurement was carried out in the format of an open tender with special conditions, where Yug Stroy Company was the only participant. However, the company has to eliminate some inconsistencies in the submitted documentation. According to YouControl, Yug Stroy Company LLC has been registered in Pivdenne since 2015, and its owner is Lyudmyla Maltseva from Berezovsky district.
The company expects to receive UAH 86.155 million for its services to maintain 108 road sections in Odesa district.
The open tender with special conditions provides for a shorter timeframe for submitting bids and a period of appeal – seven and five days, respectively. After the start of the full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian government temporarily changed the rules for conducting tenders, allowing for the cancellation of the electronic auction under martial law.
For comparison, the municipal enterprise City Clinical Hospital No. 11 also recently held a tender to select a supplier of a surgical table with cardiac equipment. The only participant was Protek Solutions Ukraine LLC, which expects to receive UAH 3.25 million. This company was also the sole bidder in five other hospital procurements.
