Mark Rutte said that Ukraine will continuously receive American weapons
Ukraine will continue to continuously receive American weapons financed by NATO countries within the framework of the PURL initiative. This was stated the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Mark Rutte in an interview with the Fox News channel.
2 billion dollars have already been allocated for aid packages for Ukraine. Rutte emphasized that the allies provide a constant flow of weapons that strengthens Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
“You will see a continuous flow of American weapons into Ukraine, paid for by allies. And I think that together with the sanctions, together with the target of 5% that we will spend as a NATO in general on our collective defense, this big foreign policy success of President Trump at the NATO summit in The Hague in June, combined to put pressure on the Russian Federation to take this seriously and stop its actions, Rutte said.
Rütte also noted that Russia is currently experiencing such losses of human resources every month that the Soviet Union suffered during the 10-year war in Afghanistan.
“Can you imagine? 10 years in Afghanistan – it is as much as now in one month in Ukraine. It’s getting crazy”, – he added.
