Massive Russian strike on Ukraine: there are dead and wounded
The Russian army carried out another massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine, resulting in casualties and destruction in the capital and several regions. The consequences of the shelling are reported by regional and city military administrations.
In Kyiv, during the strike, according to the KVMVA press service, the windows of a multi-storey residential building in the Svyatoshynskyi district were damaged, and residents were also reported to be locked in their apartments. Four victims are known, including a 16-year-old child.
Serious consequences were also recorded in the Kyiv region. The head of the Kyiv OVA Mykola Kalashnyk reported that a fire broke out in a private two-story house in the Vyshgorod district as a result of the attack. According to him, a 76-year-old woman died. Three people were also injured – a man born in 1975, a woman born in 1976, and a girl born in 2009, who received shrapnel wounds.
“All victims were provided with medical assistance on the spot”, – the report says. In addition, two private houses were damaged in the Obukhiv district – broken windows, damaged facades and roofs.
A person was also reported dead in the Khmelnytskyi region as a result of a missile and drone strike on December 23. The head of the Khmelnytskyi OVA, Serhiy Tyurin informed that the victim of the attack was a person born in 1953. It is also noted that power outages were recorded due to the shelling.
The consequences of the massive air attack were also recorded in the Rivne region. The head of the Rivne Regional Emergency Management Agency, Oleksandrkoval reported that a two-story apartment building in the region was damaged, with the blast wave breaking out windows, destroying a wooden outbuilding, and damaging three cars. According to him, no people were injured.
