OnlyFans model Svitlana Dvornikova appealed to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi with a call to abolish criminal liability for pornography. The corresponding petition she registered on the website of the Office of the President.
According to her, for five years of working on the OnlyFans platform, she paid more than UAH 40 million in taxes to the state.
“Forty million is a hundred pickups or two thousand FPV drones for the Armed Forces. Forty million is hundreds of Russians killed at the front. However, instead of thanking me for this money, the state opened a criminal case against me under Article 301, and the law enforcement officers hinted that for a certain amount the case could disappear.” said the woman.
She also claims that law enforcement officers come to OnlyFans models, “open criminal cases and offer corruption deals.”
“Tell me why the state prosecutes victimless activity? My job is a voluntary exchange between adults who know what they want. All participants are adults, all acting of their own free will. Where is the crime? Who is the victim? Why is Section 301 effectively a bribery machine?” – says the text of the petition.
Dvornikova emphasized that the OnlyFans platform pays more than $1 million in taxes to the budget of Ukraine every year. According to her, 350 Ukrainian content authors declared 305.4 million hryvnias of income for the year, of which 59 million were paid to the budget.
She added that in all European countries adult citizens have the right to legally create erotic content:
“It’s time for Ukraine to join the civilized world.”
Svitlana Dvornikova also urged the president to support draft law No. 12191 and contribute to its inclusion on the agenda of the Verkhovna Rada – “not tomorrow, not in a month, not after the war – now.”
