In 1930, Oleksandr Bogomolets was elected president of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR.
Once in 1945, the US military department ordered a story from a famous journalist about the most sensational event of the year, hinting at the use of the atomic bomb by the Americans in Japan. What was their surprise when the journalist recognized a more sensational event, much more important than the atomic bomb and even the end of the Second World War – “the amazing discovery of the Soviet scientist Bogomolets called “AC-serum”, which prolongs human life.”

The publication was published under the title “Tomorrow you can become younger” and told the publication’s multi-million audience about the phenomenal genius of a scientist who devoted more than forty years of his life to the study and prevention of diseases that lead to premature old age. The American journalist cited several quotes from Oleksandr Oleksandrovich, the main of which is: “The main principles of the fight for longevity: no oversaturation! It is necessary to restrain desire. It is a powerful stimulus for creativity, love, a stimulus for long life… 150 years should be recognized as the normal length of a person’s life.”

Yes, 150 years of life is more important than an atomic bomb!

Bogomolets died in 1946. At the scientist’s will, he was buried on the territory of the Kyiv Institute of Experimental Medicine. Shortly before his death, Oleksandr Oleksandrovich sadly joked in a conversation with his relatives that from here it would be more convenient for him to come inconspicuously to meetings of the scientific council and to experiments in the laboratory…

Stalin’s reaction to the scientist’s death was interesting. There are two options:
