On the morning of November 28, increased law enforcement activity was observed in the government quarter: detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and prosecutors of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office entered the building of the Office of the President. They arrived to conduct authorized searches at the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak. This was reported by NABU.
“NABU and SAPO are conducting investigative actions (searches) at the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. Investigative actions are authorized and are being carried out within the framework of the investigation. Details – later”, – the report says.
Journalists from “Ukrainian Truth” managed to film the moment of the special group’s arrival. They said that about ten representatives of the NABU and SAPO entered the territory of the government quarter at the same time. They were directed to the administrative building of the OP, accompanied by security officers. Journalists also recorded official cars and increased security measures at the scene.

A few days before, NABU Director Semen Kryvonos stated that the investigation into the Midas corruption case, which concerns the energy sector, is only gaining momentum. According to him, detectives are expecting new episodes and new suspicions, and the number of suspects may expand.
