NABU detective bought a house in Boryspil with money donated by his father
A detective of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, Yaroslav Pomynalny, purchased a residential building in the city of Boryspil, using 630 thousand hryvnias, which his father gave him the day before the purchase. This is evidenced by data of his electronic declaration of significant changes in property status.
Pomynalny holds the position of a senior detective of the NABU. On December 29, 2025, he received a gift from his father in the form of a cash sum of 630 thousand hryvnias, and the very next day he purchased a house with an area of 108 square meters. The cost of the house exceeded three million hryvnias, and the payment was made in several installments.
This is not an isolated case among NABU employees. Former detective Oleksandr Rykovtsev, who now works at Ukrzaliznytsia, is building two private houses – one near Kyiv, the other near Odessa. Another NABU detective Maksym Savʼyuk, who recently became a member of the High Council of Justice, bought an apartment in Kyiv for almost five million hryvnias. At the same time, he received 1,000 hryvnias in winter support, and his wife – 3,000 hryvnias. It is also known that detective Oleh Tsybulya purchased a convertible car.
This data has sparked a discussion about the property status of the anti-corruption bureau detectives and ways to finance their lives outside of work.
