NATO responded to Russia’s massive attack on Ukraine
Following Russia’s massive missile and drone attack, NATO’s mission in Ukraine declared solidarity with Ukraine and pledged continued support. This is stated in a statement by the NATO mission in Ukraine, published on the social network X.
The statement notes that last night Russia launched hundreds of missiles and drones aimed at civilians and infrastructure throughout Ukraine.
“We stand in full solidarity with Ukraine and will continue to provide support”, the NATO mission stressed.
Following the latest Russian attacks, the United Kingdom announced that it would accelerate the supply of anti-aircraft weapons to Ukraine defense.
Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar condemned Russia’s strikes on Ukraine on May 13 and the night of May 14.
Moldovan President Maia Sandu, commenting on Russia’s new attacks on Ukraine, called for not easing pressure on Moscow.
