NEURC increased tariffs for gas distribution services for enterprises
The National Commission for State Regulation in the Energy and Utilities Sectors has, for the first time since 2021, reviewed the tariffs for the natural gas distribution service for non-household consumers. Starting in 2026, the cost for businesses in certain regions will increase almost threefold.
The tariff increase is planned in two stages: from January 1 and April 1, 2026. The most significant increase is expected for several branches of Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine. In particular, in the Dnipropetrovsk branch, the tariff will increase by 175% to UAH 3.46 per cubic meter, in Sumy branch by 115% to UAH 2.88, in Mykolaiv branch by 81% to UAH 3.60 per cubic meter.
The price increase will also affect Poltavagaz by 81% to UAH 3.16, Kremenchukgaz by 137% to UAH 1.09, and for Kyivgaz the tariff will increase by 44% to UAH 0.46 per cubic meter.
«The above calculations were made taking into account the reimbursement of reasonable expenses to the GRM Operators necessary to ensure the sustainable functioning of gas distribution systems, maintenance and maintaining the technical condition of devices, installations, networks, as well as system objects in accordance with the requirements of the legislation, maintaining the necessary pressure in pipelines, preventing possible gas leaks, and preventing emergency situations,” the decision states.
At the same time, the National Commission for the Regulation of the Ukrainian Energy and Utilities Sector emphasized that the tariffs for the distribution of natural gas for household consumers remain unchanged.
