New payments for children in 2024: registration procedure and conditions of receipt
Foster families, family-type orphanages and foster families can receive financial support. What you should know about payments, their amounts and registration.

Targeted assistance is provided to families raising two or more children under the age of 18 who are currently abroad, and assistance is provided throughout the territory of Ukraine, with the exception of temporarily occupied territories and zones with armed conflicts. The legal representative of the child receives the money.
The amount of payments depends on the country of residence of the children:
- UAH 25,000: if the children are in Poland or other Eastern European countries (Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, etc.).
- UAH 35,000: if the children are in Germany or other countries of Western and Northern Europe (Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Ireland, the Netherlands, France, Greece, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, etc.).
- 40,000 UAH: if the children are in Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and other countries not mentioned above.
To register for assistance, follow these steps:
- Appeal to authorized bodies: Applicants who meet the specified criteria should apply to the authorized bodies and services for children in their place of residence.
- Direction of the letter of appeal: Authorized bodies and services for children send an official letter of appeal regarding the provision of targeted monetary charitable assistance to ensure the rights of children who are abroad. The application letter is sent to the organization’s email address: [email protected].
- Receiving payments: After processing the application and confirming compliance with the criteria, the applicant receives financial assistance to the specified account.
This support program is aimed at ensuring the rights of children who are temporarily abroad and promoting their integration into family forms of upbringing.
