Ф’ючерси на нафту марки Brent зросли на 41 цент, або 0,6%, до $70,99 за барель, тоді як американська West Texas Intermediate додала 40 центів, або 0,6%, до $67,58 за барель. Унаслідок авіаударів США загинули щонайменше 53 людини. Це стало найбільшою військовою операцією США на Близькому Сході з моменту вступу Дональда Трампа на посаду президента в січні. Напади хуситів на судноплавство в Червоному морі порушили світову торгівлю та призвели до запуску дорогої кампанії американських військових із перехоплення ракет і дронів.
