On the night of May 25-26, Russian troops launched a massive air and missile attack. A total of 14 missiles and more than thirty drones were launched. Residential buildings in Vinnytsia region were destroyed. There are victims among the civilian population.
At eight o’clock in the morning, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the destruction of 43 targets: 12 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles and 31 Shahed-131/136 type attack UAVs. The troops also launched two Kh-47M2 Kinjal aeroballistic missiles from MiG-31K aircraft.
As a result of the fall of fragments of an enemy drone in the town of Zhmerinka in Vinnytsia region, 10 residential buildings – high-rise buildings and private houses – were damaged. Three civilians were injured.
“In Vinnytsia, three four-story residential buildings, 7 private residential buildings, and 6 passenger cars were damaged in the night due to the fall of enemy drone debris in the town of Zhmerinka. 3 people were injured, who refused to be hospitalized. 40 people were evacuated from the apartments. All relevant authorities worked at the scene services. Currently, emergency and rescue work is underway to dismantle overhanging structures from the floors of the building, which pose a threat to passers-by,” said the head of Vinnytsia OVA Sergey Borzov.
