Opendatabot launched a free QR IBAN service that simplifies the payment process. Now users just need to upload a photo or screenshot with details – the system will automatically create a secure QR code that instantly opens the payment page in your banking application.
QR IBAN automatically reads information from receipts or messages and converts it into a QR code that opens the payment form directly in the banking application. This significantly simplifies the process, as you no longer need to manually enter IBAN, EDRPOU or other details.
Previously, each bank or financial institution created its own unique QR codes, which made it difficult or impossible to pay a bill from another bank. Now, thanks to the introduction of a single QR code standard by the National Bank of Ukraine, all payments have become compatible, faster and safer. Opendatabot additionally checks the correctness of the details, which practically eliminates the risk of errors during payment.
“For example, if you received a paper invoice or a screenshot in a messenger, you can simply upload it to the service – the system will read the details, check them in state registers and generate a QR code for payment. This helps to avoid errors and reduces the risk of transfers to fraudsters”, – the service explained.
For businesses, the function of creating QR codes for customers is available with the ability to automate the process via API or integration with CRM systems. An entrepreneur or seller can simply enter the details in the service, after which they will receive a ready-made QR code, which the client scans to immediately go to the payment form in their bank.
QR payment makes the process safer, since the user does not enter card data or bank details manually. Confirmation of the transfer occurs exclusively in the user’s banking application, and the system only provides a quick and reliable transition to this stage.
