Over the past week, the Russian Federation has used almost 630 KABs, about 550 attack drones and more than 100 missiles of various types against Ukraine: Zelenskyy

Ukraine continues to experience one of the most difficult periods of the war. Russia is increasing the intensity of its attacks, using destructive weapons against the civilian population and infrastructure. December 15, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi stated, that in the last week alone, Russian troops have used almost 630 guided aerial bombs, about 550 attack drones and more than 100 missiles of various types against Ukraine.
In his address, the president emphasized the heroism of Ukrainian soldiers, who day after day repel enemy attacks, protecting the lives of civilians and critical infrastructure. He also thanked international partners for their support to Ukraine, especially for providing air defense systems that help protect the country from missiles and drones.
“I am grateful to the soldiers who defend Ukraine and to the partners who understand our need to strengthen air defense to save the lives of our people.” – noted Zelensky.
The President emphasized that now the world should be stronger and more united than ever. According to him, only joint efforts can force Russia to abandon its terror tactics, which take people’s lives every day, and achieve a just peace.
“Now the world must be united and stronger than ever. Only by force can we together force Russia and its allies to abandon terror and achieve a just peace.” – he emphasized.
The massive attacks carried out by Russia in recent months have catastrophic consequences for the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine. Energy facilities, transport networks, hospitals, schools and residential buildings are being destroyed. But the main goal is to intimidate Ukrainians and disrupt normal life in the country.
Despite this, Ukraine demonstrates stability and steadfastness in the struggle. Every downed missile or drone is a life saved, and every new air defense system is a chance for people to live in relative safety.
