People’s deputy Dubinsky was charged with aiding the illegal crossing of the border

Employees of the State Security Bureau and the Security Service of Ukraine exposed People’s Deputy Oleksandr Dubinskyi in the repeated organization of illegal border crossings for other persons. In the State Bureau of Investigation reported, that the politician has repeatedly helped in the organization of such trips.

According to law enforcement officers, the Prosecutor General’s Office informed Dubinsky of the new suspicion and changed the previously raised suspicion while he is in the pretrial detention center. This is reported by the press services of the SBI and the Prosecutor General’s Office.

“The Prosecutor General signed a notice of a new suspicion of a current People’s Deputy in the organization of illegal transportation of persons across the state border, committed repeatedly (part 2 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)”, – it is stated in the official message.

Along with the people’s deputy, his former assistant, who currently heads a public organization, received suspicion.

The investigation established that in August 2022, Dubinsky, in collusion with other persons, organized the illegal departure of his common-law wife’s brother abroad. Rodych crossed the border with Moldova by car, providing documents entered into the “Path” system, which were obtained thanks to the assistance of Dubinsky and a public organization controlled by him. After that, the “driver” got a job on a foreign ship, not carrying out any transportation for the Armed Forces.

This is not the first such suspicion against Dubinsky. In 2023, he helped organize the illegal departure abroad of the same “relative” according to a similar scheme.

It will be recalled that in August 2023, the SBU and the Security Intelligence Service conducted a search of Dubinsky, after which he was charged with treason for subversive activities in favor of the Russian Federation.
