Since the beginning of the National Cashback program in September last year, Ukrainians have accumulated 1 billion hryvnias for the purchase of domestic goods. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Economy.
Of this amount, 606 million hryvnias were accumulated in December and the first half of January (436 million hryvnias in December and 170 million hryvnias in January). In November, the amount of cashback amounted to 232 million hryvnias, in October – 125 million hryvnias, and in September – 37 million hryvnias.
Funds accumulated in December and January will be paid at the end of February 2025. These payments are tax-free. The program has already been used by 4.7 million citizens, of whom 65% are women and 35% are men. 20 banks and 1,672 Ukrainian producers joined the initiative. Cashback applies to 355,400 items of goods manufactured in Ukraine.
Cashback can be spent on utilities, medical and educational services, transport, mobile communication, insurance, medicines and books of Ukrainian production, donated to support our defenders or military bonds.
