Processing industry companies will be able to receive up to 16 million hryvnias for recovery after shelling

On July 7, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine passed a new version of the Procedure for the implementation of the “Grants for Processing Enterprises” program, supplementing it with support for enterprises that suffered losses as a result of the aggression of the Russian Federation. Such companies can now apply for grants of up to UAH 16 million for the restoration of production facilities — in particular, for the purchase, delivery and installation of equipment.

“Recently, the intensity of enemy attacks on Ukrainian industry has increased significantly. As a result of massive shelling and fires, Ukrainian enterprises lose valuable equipment that is critically important for production every day. That is why we are expanding the grant program — from now on, processing industry enterprises can receive up to 16 million hryvnias for the restoration of damaged facilities, while the state covers up to 80% of the costs.

In addition, the new edition of the Procedure provides for the possibility of repeated participation in the program, and also expands support for farmers and producers who choose Ukrainian equipment. The implemented changes will allow enterprises to restore lost capacities, create new jobs, launch additional production lines and ensure sustainable development.”, – stressed the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko.

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and FOPs in the field of processing, which have documentary evidence of destruction, will be able to receive a grant. The maximum amount is UAH 16 million, but no more than compensated damages. The minimum own contribution is 20%, i.e. UAH 4 million in the case of maximum assistance. Those who have already participated in the program can also apply, provided they meet the previous obligations.

Donors must create at least five jobs, as well as return the amount of the grant through taxes and ESS in three years, in particular, at least 20% of ESS — from the newly created jobs. Funds can be used for new equipment (Ukrainian or foreign).

Additional updates include the opportunity for agricultural producers to receive grants for equipment for post-harvest processing, funding for research (RnD), special 30/70 co-financing conditions for projects with all-Ukrainian equipment. Re-participation in the program after successful completion of previous commitments is also permitted. You can submit documents at any time – selection takes place in two-week waves through the Diya platform. For some categories of enterprises, in particular from the frontline regions, co-financing is 80/20.
