The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) has exposed the officials of the Holosiivsky District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TSC) in Kyiv, who organized a scheme to evade mobilization for thousands of conscripts. More than $1.2 million in cash was found in their possession during the search. About this informs DBR press office.
According to the investigation, three TCC employees, including the head of the Military Medical Commission (MMC), who was previously suspected of similar actions, and three civilians were among those detained. They organized a criminal group that provided “services” to men who sought to avoid military service. The group was headed by a civilian who searched for clients and coordinated the transfer of documents to the TCC.
The scheme consisted in the production of false military registration documents, which made it possible to withdraw from the military registration or avoid mobilization. The cost of such “services” ranged from $2,000 to $15,000 per set of documents.
During the searches, law enforcement officers seized documents confirming the facts of illegal deregistration, as well as more than 1.2 million dollars, 45 thousand euros and 11 premium cars.
The extras were suspected under the articles of extortion and receiving of illegal benefits and organization of a criminal group (Parts 2, 3, 5 of Article 27, Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). They face up to 15 years in prison, and the issue of their detention is currently being resolved.
Two more employees of the same TCC were also found to have entered false data into the Unified State Register of Conscripts. They are charged with unauthorized interference in the operation of information systems (Part 5 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The SBI emphasized that it has intensified work on identifying similar schemes in all regions to implement the decision of the National Security Council of October 22, 2024 on combating corruption offenses in the process of determining unfitness for service.
