Russia attacked Izyum and Zaporizhia region with drones: there are injuries, houses destroyed
On the night of July 20, Russian troops carried out a mass drone attack on populated areas of Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions. Izyum and Zaporizhzhia were the most affected, where as a result of shelling, at least five people were injured, and residential buildings and civil infrastructure objects were damaged.
For information of the Izyum city military administration, at least four enemy unmanned aerial vehicles were directed at the city. One of them hit a two-story residential building on Shkilny Street, causing significant damage to the second floor. As a result of the explosion, two civilians were injured. The other three drones targeted a private non-residential building on Kremyanetskyi kvartal street. After the impact, a fire broke out there, and nearby farm buildings were destroyed.
Meanwhile, several private houses were damaged in Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district as a result of a nighttime drone attack. By information head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, fires broke out in various areas of the city, both in residential areas and in open areas. A 69-year-old woman was injured and is being treated.
Later, it became known that the enemy launched two missile strikes from rocket salvo systems and launched at least 14 attack drones in the region.
One of the drones hit a private house in the village of Primorske, Vasylivsky district. Two women, aged 64 and 73, were injured. Both were injured in their own home and were taken to a medical facility. As a result of the explosion, the windows were broken, and the facade of the building was damaged.
