Russia is ready for negotiations on Ukraine: Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced Moscow’s readiness for negotiations regarding Ukraine. He also noted that the Kremlin has never given up contacts with Washington, and their termination was initiated by the United States. This is reported by rosZMI.

According to the head of the Kremlin, the decree of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi banning dialogue with Russia makes it impossible to conduct legitimate negotiations.

“It is hardly possible to conduct serious negotiations between the Russian Federation and Ukraine in the conditions of Zelenskyi’s banning decree. Kyiv is happy to grab hundreds of billions of dollars from sponsors on both cheeks, but is in no hurry to cancel the decision to ban negotiations with the Russian Federation.”, – he noted.

In his opinion, Zelensky will change his decision only under the pressure of allies who can force him to start a dialogue with Moscow. In addition, Putin commented on his relations with former US President Donald Trump, calling them “trusting and pragmatic”.
