Russian CABs caused heavy damage in Kupyansk, infrastructure destroyed: MVA

Kupyansk is undergoing serious destruction due to intensive Russian airstrikes, in particular the use of high-powered aerial bombardments by KAB. Andrii Besedin, the head of the Kupyan city military administration, announced this on the air of the My-Ukraine TV channel.

According to him, the Russian forces use bombs weighing up to one and a half tons, which are capable of destroying everything within a radius of one kilometer, in particular in the central part of the city.

“There are 250-500 other KABs, this is constant, especially the Left Bank, which has actually already been destroyed”Besedin noted.

The head of the administration also emphasized that the Russian troops follow the “scorched earth” tactic, destroying both critical infrastructure and civilian facilities and enterprises. The city suffered significant losses due to constant shelling.

The situation in the Kharkiv region

In the Kharkiv region, intensive fighting continues in two directions — in the north of the region and in the Kupyansk region. Russian troops regularly shell settlements near the border and the front line, in particular Kharkiv, which is constantly under attack.

In particular, on the night of September 19, Russian troops attacked the city twice with ballistic missiles and aerial bombs, which caused serious destruction and fires.

In the Kupyan direction, 22 attacks took place during the day, during which the occupiers actively used aviation. However, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled the assaults in the areas of Lozova, Petropavlivka, and other settlements.
