Russian narratives and life in London: journalists found out how fugitive MP Dmytruk lives (video)
People’s deputy Artem Dmytruk, who together with his family illegally left Ukraine and settled in London, is actively arranging his new life. As reported in investigation Bihus.Info, Dmytruk plays sports, has fun with children and at the same time spreads pro-Russian narratives in his public appearances.
According to journalists, the deputy’s escape from Ukraine was not spontaneous. Judging by the frequent visits of Dmytrouk’s wife to London in 2022 and 2023, this decision could have been well planned in advance. During these trips, the family most likely lived in the Bermondsey area, according to the wife’s social media posts.
Already in July 2024, Dmytrouk’s wife and children “lighted up” again in the same area, and in September, they probably completely moved to London. Journalists also note that at the end of September, the family changed their place of residence and moved to the prestigious residential complex Vista Chelsea Bridge, which is located between Battersea Park and the gym, where Dmytruk now regularly publishes his training with a barbell.
Despite Dmytrouk’s statement about a hasty escape and the threat to his life, the investigation shows that he and his family are actively arranging a new life in London. Journalists draw attention to the fact that the family even orders products from Ukraine, which contradicts the rhetoric about difficult living conditions.
In addition, Dmytruk constantly records videos and participates in broadcasts, where he spreads pro-Russian theses. Among his statements are accusations of the “arbitrariness of the Central Committee”, the assertion that “the Ukrainian government started the war”, and propaganda that “Ukrainians are killing each other”. These speeches cause particular indignation against the background of his comfortable life abroad, investigators added.
