“Servant of the People” denies connection with the head of the MSEC, who was found to have millions of dollars in cash
Tetiana Krupa, the head of the Khmelnytskyi Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEK), who is suspected of illegal enrichment, was elected a deputy to the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council from the Servant of the People party, but she is not a member of this political force. It’s official stated in the Khmelnytskyi regional organization of the party.
The party has already initiated the procedure to recall Krupa from the regional council, emphasizing its position on corruption. “Servant of the People” declares that it adheres to the principle of zero tolerance for corruption, and emphasizes the need to punish such persons according to the law.
According to the information of the “Chesno” movement, Krupa is non-partisan. In the regional council, she works in the commission on health care, social policy, education and other social spheres. In addition, in 2021 she headed the deputy group “For family values”.
Krupa’s political career was not always successful. In 2015, she ran for the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, but was unsuccessful. After five years, she decided to try again and joined “Servant of the People”.
We will remind that on October 4, law enforcement officers exposed Krupa and her son, the head of the regional Pension Fund, for illegal enrichment. During the searches, they found about 6 million dollars in cash in various currencies. Law enforcement officers also seized documents confirming their involvement in money laundering through various business projects. Krupa tried to get rid of part of the money by throwing away bags with half a million dollars.
The next day, the State Bureau of Investigation notified Krupa of the suspicion and took her into custody. At the same time, it became known that her son Oleksandr and her husband Volodymyr are co-founders of the SOLAR-INVESTTS company, which is engaged in the production of solar electricity.
