The budget received UAH 468.9 billion for the first quarter of 2024
In January-March 2024, the general fund of the state budget received UAH 468.9 billion, reported Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
This became possible thanks to the over-implementation of the plan for collecting taxes and other payments:
- Taxpayers exceeded the plan on 13.4% (+ UAH 33.0 billion).
- Customs officials exceeded the plan on 6.3% (+ UAH 8.1 billion).
- One of the sources of income became dividends from state-owned enterprises, which are paid at the beginning of the year. This year, the budget received UAH 32.2 billion in dividends.
Other sources of income include:
- Import VAT: UAH 109.0 billion.
- Corporate income tax: UAH 96.7 billion, of which UAH 49.7 billion were paid by state banks.
- VAT on goods produced in Ukraine: UAH 69.0 billion.
- Personal income tax and military service: UAH 44.9 billion.
- Excise tax: UAH 39.3 billion
- Import and export duty: UAH 12.2 billion.
- Rent for the use of subsoil: UAH 9.4 billion.
- Income of EUV to pension funds and social insurance in January-March 2024 amounted to UAH 118.7 billion, of which UAH 42.5 billion came in March.
We would like to remind you that on January 1, 2024, the law “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2024”, which provides for an increase in the subsistence minimum for a number of categories of citizens, came into force in Ukraine.
