Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine confirmed the new composition of the Supervisory Board of the Defense Procurement Agency (AOD) under the Ministry of Defense. At the request of the Minister of Defense, Ivan Gavrylyuk and Stanislav Heyder joined the Council as representatives of the state.
“Their expertise will contribute to the efficient and transparent work of the Defense Procurement Agency, which is a key tool for ensuring the Defense Forces of Ukraine.” – noted the Ministry of Defense.
The Ministry of Defense noted that the reform of defense procurement is ongoing in order to provide the Ukrainian army with the necessary equipment quickly, qualitatively and in accordance with modern standards.
We will remind that the Ministry of Defense recently found itself at the center of a scandal due to suspicions of inefficient use of budget funds and delays in the supply of weapons for the Armed Forces. In particular, it turned out that the Defense Procurement Agency purchased anti-tank mines of 1941 at a price of about 600 euros per unit.
