The Cabinet of Ministers approved the allocation of 740 million hryvnias in subventions for the restoration of communities

The Cabinet of Ministers supported the project developed by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development to distribute 740.3 million hryvnias in subventions to communities. This was announced by the Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba.

“The government supported the project developed by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development to distribute 740.3 million hryvnias in subventions to communities. This is the next stage of financing within the framework of the Ukraine Recovery Program III for 2026,” the minister noted.

According to him, these are state budget funds that will be directly directed to the restoration of social and critical infrastructure, in particular in regions affected by Russian aggression.

Kuleba also noted that all projects have been approved and approved by the European Investment Bank in accordance with the Financing Agreement between Ukraine and the EIB.

In total, 119 projects are planned to be financed: 21 projects concern healthcare facilities, 63 projects – water supply and wastewater systems, and 35 projects – increasing the energy sustainability of communities.

“We are talking about specific solutions for people: hospitals, water, heat, electricity, basic services, without which communities cannot live and work normally,” emphasized Kuleba.
