The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is preparing a program of preferential lending for citizens and businesses wishing to purchase energy equipment, including generators and solar panels.

“Today, the procedure for providing financial support to natural persons installing generators from alternative energy sources in their own households was approved. The amount of compensation for installations with a capacity of up to 10 kW per household will amount to UAH 244,000. And the maximum loan amount is 480,000 hryvnias for a period of 5 yearsShmyhal noted.
In addition, the government plans to abolish customs duties and VAT on the import of energy equipment to make it more affordable for Ukrainians.
In particular, the cost of loans for the purchase and installation of photovoltaic modules (solar panels) and/or wind turbines with a capacity of 1 kW to 10 kW will be reduced. clarifies representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Parliament, Taras Melnychuk.
