The Cabinet of Ministers regulated the transfer of training weapons to National Resistance Centers and teaching centers for the subject “Defense of Ukraine”.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution amending the Procedure for Seizing and Transferring Military Property of the Armed Forces. The purpose of the changes is the regulatory regulation of the procedure for the transfer of training (neutralized) weapons from military units to the Centers for training citizens for national resistance and centers for teaching the subject “Defense of Ukraine”.

The draft resolution was developed by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine with the aim of ensuring the effective implementation of measures to prepare citizens for national resistance in accordance with standard training programs. The changes provide a legal opportunity to transfer training weapons for operation on the basis of educational institutions teaching the subject “Defense of Ukraine”.

The resolution regulates the procedure for alienation and transfer of training (neutralized) weapons from military units to Centers for training citizens for national resistance and communal educational institutions, and also provides for the formation and replenishment of the material and technical base of Training Centers and centers for teaching the subject “Defense of Ukraine”, necessary for the high-quality organization of the educational process.

The adoption of the resolution will contribute to the improvement of the quality of citizens’ training for national resistance, the strengthening of military-patriotic education and the creation of an appropriate material and technical base for conducting such training.
