The Committee of the Verkhovna Rada is considering the possibility of transferring the functions of the TCC to civil bodies due to numerous scandals

The Verkhovna Rada’s Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence is considering the possibility of transferring the functions of the territorial procurement centers (TCC) to civilian bodies. This is connected with numerous scandals, the last of which was a fight between ambulance workers and military personnel of the TCC in Odesa on June 11.
About this deputy chairman of this committee, People’s Deputy Yehor Chernev.
The deputy chairman of the committee, People’s Deputy Yehor Chernev, called this incident a “shameful situation” on the air of the national telethon and noted that the committee is working on options to prevent similar cases in the future.
“One of the options – still at the level of discussion – is the transfer of TCC functions to some civil bodies. That is, it is possible to withdraw from the Armed Forces or from the Ministry of Defense.” Chernev said.
We will remind that this is not the first case of conflict involving representatives of the TCC. On June 1, a civilian man attacked a representative of the Central Committee in Chernivtsi, and in May, more people were mobilized in Ukraine than in the last few months.
