The court allowed the former head of Ukrenergo, Kudrytsky, to remove the electronic bracelet, but left other restrictions in place

The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv made a decision to remove the electronic bracelet from the former head of NEK “Ukrenergo” Volodymyr Kudrytsky. At the same time, other restrictive measures against him remain in force.

“The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv has softened the preventive measure for the former head of NPC “Ukrenergo” Volodymyr Kudrytsky. The court removed his electronic bracelet, but left other restrictions and determined the amount of bail,– the message states.

The preventive measure has been extended for another two months with the possibility of posting a bail of seven million hryvnias. In addition, Kudrytsky is required to surrender his foreign passport, refrain from communicating with witnesses, and appear in court at every summons.

The court’s decision means the easing of certain restrictions, but the suspect will continue to be under procedural control within the framework of criminal proceedings. Kudrytsky is suspected of abuse of office and illegal appropriation of state-owned company funds.

As reported, Volodymyr Kudrytsky was dismissed from the position of head of NPC “Ukrenergo” by decision of the company’s supervisory board dated September 2, 2024.
