The court ordered the former head of the Zaporizhia Regional CCC to return over three million hryvnias to the state
The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court has declared assets worth over 3.8 million hryvnias acquired by the former head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support and his wife to be unfounded. This was reported by the National Agency for Corruption Prevention.
As reported by the NACP, the court partially satisfied the claim of the prosecutor of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office. The decision was based on the results of monitoring the official’s lifestyle, conducted by the NACP, and on evidence obtained by the State Bureau of Investigation.
During the inspection, it was established that the former head of the center purchased a house with a land plot, two cars registered to his wife, as well as cash during his tenure. At the same time, most of the family’s legal income was used non-cash, which does not explain the possibility of purchasing the specified property.
The court ruled to recover the house with land and the cost of one of the cars in favor of the state. The decision can be appealed within thirty days from the date of publication of the full text of the court decision.
