In the Defense Forces of Ukraine, a digital system of accounting for servicemen “Impulse” is being implemented. told Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal about this.
“This is a digital personnel accounting system that allows you to receive up-to-date data on each serviceman, the history of appointments, generate reports and draft orders. And all this without papers, quickly and transparently. “Impulse” – the first mass information and communication system (ICS) of the tactical level, which should work in every military unit, – explained Denys Shmyhal.
Thanks to “Impulse” military units get quick access to up-to-date personnel information and quickly generate orders and other documents. In addition, senior managers can make management decisions based on clear and transparent data for each part.
The units of the Airborne Assault Troops were the first to use the system. In the coming weeks, “Impulse” will work in the Ground Forces and at the level of newly created corps, the head of the Ministry of Defense added.
In the future “Impulse” plan to integrate with other digital solutions for the Defense Forces: military application “Army+”, Medical information system, etc., which will create a single electronic space of personnel management.
“We are scaling technological solutions in the army and eliminating unnecessary bureaucratic burden on military personnel. We are doing everything to ensure that the soldiers are focused on the main thing – the defense of Ukraine, – emphasized the Minister of Defense.
