The General Staff plans to use artificial intelligence on the battlefield
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively working on the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) in the military sphere, striving to achieve technological superiority.
About this stated the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel Andriy Lebedenko during a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center.
“We don’t just talk about innovation, we implement it. Our goal is to move to a new level of quality of unmanned systems using machine vision and artificial intelligence.”, Lebedenko stressed.
According to him, the Armed Forces cooperate closely with Ukrainian manufacturers and international partners to ensure mass production of advanced technologies.
“The task of the military administration is to provide the army with UAVs, create prerequisites for domestic manufacturers to have healthy competition, and train drone operators. At the core of the Command of Unmanned Systems – UAVs, ground robotic complexes, new means of radio-electronic warfare, new means of control. All in order to quickly respond to the challenges of the times,” – zmeaning Lebedenko.
