The government allowed foreign companies to engage in construction activities in Ukraine

The initiative will allow representative offices of Polish companies to carry out work on the arrangement of checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision that allows foreign companies to obtain permits for construction activities on the territory of Ukraine. This, in particular, enables representative offices of Polish companies to carry out work on the arrangement of checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border. About this informs the press service of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.

“Today, the government made a decision to enable foreign companies and organizations operating on the territory of Ukraine through separate divisions and permanent representative offices to acquire the right to carry out economic activities related to the construction of facilities”, the message says.

Corresponding changes were made to the resolution of the CMU No. 314 dated March 13, 2022. They relate to the construction of objects of medium (SS2) and significant (SS3) classes of consequences.

“The right to engage in construction activity will be granted by submitting a declaration of economic activity to the licensing body free of charge without the need to obtain a license for the construction of facilities. The corresponding norm will be in effect during martial law.”, – it is noted in the message.

Also, the adoption of this act will improve the legal regulation of the activities of foreign companies in Ukraine. In particular, this will enable representative offices of Polish companies to carry out work on the arrangement of checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border.

These works are planned as part of the implementation of the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Poland on the provision of a loan on the terms of related aid dated September 9, 2015.
