The government has decided to dismiss Isayenko from the position of Head of the State Service for Medicines
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dismissed Roman Isayenko from the position of Head of the State Service for Medicines and Drug Control. The corresponding decision is contained in the government’s order dated January 7.
The document directly states the reason for the personnel move: “in connection with receiving a negative assessment based on the results of the evaluation of official activities in 2025”.
Isayenko headed the department in March 2024, receiving the authority to manage the work of the service responsible for state control in the field circulation of medicines and supervision of compliance with the rules on narcotic drugs and precursors. However, at the end of 2025, his status in the leadership of the service was already effectively suspended: on December 24, 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers suspended the official from his duties, simultaneously initiating disciplinary proceedings.
Thus, the January decision became the next stage of this procedure and ended the story with a temporary suspension: after evaluating the results of his official activities for 2025, the government decided to finally dismiss the head.
