The Government has doubled the amount of grants for the “eRobota” program for frontline regions

On April 4, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine doubled the amount of grants under the YeRobota program for entrepreneurs from the frontline regions. About this informs press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“One of the most successful initiatives in business support remains the YeRobota grant program. 25,000 entrepreneurs have already received grants. The state has invested more than UAH 12 billion in this program. The main component of the program is micro-grants ranging from UAH 50,000 to 250,000. They were issued to 22,500 entrepreneurs.” – noted Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

Currently, there is a mechanism throughout the country that allows you to get 150,000 UAH in case of creation of one workplace and 250 thousand UAH – in case of creation of two.

“Today we are making a decision to expand the YeRobota program for the frontline regions. We are doubling the size of the grant to UAH 300,000 and UAH 500,000, respectively.”, the Prime Minister emphasized.

The government expanded the list of regions for which the maximum amount of micro-grants increases by 100%. The list includes: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kherson and Chernihiv regions.

In addition, it was clarified that financial support in the form of grants can now also be provided for the production and sale of sparkling and carbonated wines — these items have been added to the list of winemaking products subject to state funding.

“Business in the front-line and border regions with the aggressor operates in extremely difficult conditions and needs increased state support. In the spring of last year, we increased the size of the micro-grant for businesses in the Kharkiv region, and this gave a powerful result.

If in the second half of 2023 the region was only in the second ten in terms of the number of grants and jobs created, then in the second half of 2024 these indicators have almost doubled: Kharkiv region entrepreneurs received 402 grants worth UAH 173 million, which will create 706 new jobs. Today, we are scaling this experience to all frontline regions.” – stressed the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliya Svyridenko.
