The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision on granting grants to small agricultural producers. Relevant order No. 495 was adopted at the regular meeting of the government on the proposal of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
Who can receive a grant?
The grant support program is designed for farmers who own or use up to 120 hectares of land, or keep up to 100 cows, or up to 500 goats and sheep.
What are the grant amounts?
A grant of 4,000 hryvnias is provided for each hectare of cultivated land.
You can get 7,000 hryvnias for each cow of all areas of productivity.
For each head of goats or sheep – 2000 hryvnias.
How to get a grant?
To receive a grant, it is necessary to submit an application through the State Agrarian Register. Applications will be accepted approximately at the end of June 2024. Detailed conditions and instructions for submitting applications will be published on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Additional support measures
The government also increased the authorized capital of the Fund for Partial Guarantee of Loans in Agriculture. This should facilitate the access of small and medium agricultural producers to credit resources and contribute to the development of their business.
