The government plans to update the Export Strategy of Ukraine: details
Ukrainian manufacturers experienced many challenges as a result of the aggression of the Russian Federation.

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, in cooperation with leading international expert organizations, has started work on updating the Export Strategy of Ukraine, adapted to the conditions of the war and the period of post-war recovery. About this informs press service of the ministry.
As a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian manufacturers faced many challenges. Economy Minister Yuliya Svyridenko noted that the updated strategy should take into account changes in the structure of the Ukrainian economy, prospects for the country’s post-war recovery, redistribution of export markets, reorientation to new regions and specific countries, as well as adaptation of Ukrainian production to the standards and needs of EU consumers.
“We must take into account the new realities and challenges that our economy is facing. The updated strategy should help Ukrainian manufacturers not only to survive in these difficult times, but also to find new opportunities for growth and development.” – stressed Svyridenko.
The updated strategy will include:
- Analysis of changes in the structure of the Ukrainian economy.
- Forecasts regarding the prospects of the country’s post-war recovery.
- Redistribution of sales markets for export products.
- Reorientation to new regions and specific countries.
- Adaptation of Ukrainian production to the standards and needs of EU consumers.
Also, within the “Made in Ukraine” policy, the government will introduce a business support program that will promote the development of Ukrainian export potential. Svyridenko noted that this program should provide Ukrainian companies with the necessary tools and resources to enter international markets and strengthen their positions.
In addition, the ministry plans to organize a series of consultations and discussions with business representatives, industry associations and international partners to ensure the maximum effectiveness and relevance of the updated strategy.
“Implementation of the government’s business support program within the framework of the ‘Made in Ukraine’ policy should also contribute to the development of Ukrainian export potential.” Mr. Sviridenko.
