The head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine is suspected of non-declaration of property

The special anti-corruption prosecutor’s office raised suspicions against the acting head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, Serhiy Zvyagintsev. He is accused of knowingly entering false data in property declarations, which is a violation of the law. About this informs SAP press office.

“Under the procedural guidance of SAP prosecutors, NABU detectives informed the Acting Head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine of a suspicion that the subject of the declaration deliberately entered knowingly inaccurate information into the declarations of a person authorized to perform the functions of the state or local self-government, provided for by the Law of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption “, says the message.

During the investigation, it was found that in the declarations for 2021-2023, the official did not declare a residential building with an area of ​​236.8 square meters. m and the land plot near Kyiv on which this house is located.

The specified real estate, the value of which exceeds 100,000 US dollars, was issued to a close relative of the wife. However, it was actually owned and used by the official himself and his family. A pre-trial investigation is currently underway.
