The IDF announced the destruction of a third of Iran’s missile installations overnight

On June 16, the Israeli military declare, which destroyed more than 120 missile launchers in Iran last night. This represents about a third of all surface-to-surface launchers at Tehran’s disposal.

“Overnight, we completed a large-scale strike against several targets in central Iran, attacking and destroying more than 120 launchers, which is a third of all surface-to-surface missile installations at the disposal of the Iranian regime,” – said the statement of the press secretary of the Israel Defense Forces, Daniel Hagari.

He added that as a result of the Israeli attack, Iran managed to launch only half of the planned number of missiles at night:

“65 missiles and dozens of UAVs were fired. Our defense systems successfully intercepted most of them.”

More than 50 fighters and aircraft were involved in this operation. The IDF confirmed the liquidation of the head of the intelligence unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Mohammad Hazemi, his deputy Mohammad Hassan Mohakeki, as well as the head of the intelligence unit of the IRGC “Al-Quds” Mohsen Bakeri and his deputy.
