The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office made a film about the children of Kharkiv Oblast who suffered from Russian aggression

92 children from Kharkiv region died, another 360 were injured.

When war destroys not only cities, but also children’s hearts, when every explosion brings pain and loss, it is especially painful to see how the smallest and most vulnerable suffer. Children who should live in a world of dreams and hopes suddenly find themselves in the epicenter of a cruel reality. They lose not only their security, but also their childhood, becoming witnesses and victims of incredible cruelty. Precisely in order to show this terrible truth, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office decided to create a documentary film dedicated to the little heroes of Kharkiv region who suffered from Russian aggression.

This film pays tribute to our little heroes, tells about their pain and suffering. The tape became a special project, the purpose of which is not only to show the terrible consequences of war for children, but also to call for justice and punishment of those who are responsible for these crimes. In the film, prosecutor Oleksandr Shevchenko shares his experience and talks about the difficult process of finding those responsible for the death and mutilation of children. He talks about how important it is not to leave unpunished those who destroy the lives of children, who deprive them of their dreams and future.

These children of Kharkiv Region will never be like their peers in peaceful countries. They have already lost a piece of their soul after seeing the horrors of war. 92 children from Kharkiv region died, another 360 were injured – these are not just numbers, these are broken destinies, crippled lives. Every one of these stories deserves to be heard, every tear to be felt, and every criminal to be punished.

“You can hide, but remember: none of you will escape punishment for the atrocities committed against our children.” – said Oleksandr Filchakov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

The film, created by the Kharkiv Prosecutor’s Office, is not just a documentary record of events, it is the cry of the soul that resounds from the heart of every Ukrainian. This is a call to the whole world to see, feel and understand the horrors that our children are going through.

The children of Kharkiv Region have the right to justice, and this film is an attempt to convey their story to the world, to remind them of the price they have already paid for our freedom. The tape is a testament to the fact that even in the darkest times, humanity and justice remain the highest values.
