A meeting between Presidents Volodymyr Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyi is possible only if specific agreements are reached between the delegations. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmytro Peskov.
According to him, Russia will prepare and hand over to Ukraine “a list of conditions for a ceasefire”.
“First of all, it is necessary to fulfill the agreements reached in Istanbul, including the exchange of 1,000 prisoners for 1,000. It is fundamental for Russia who exactly from Kyiv will sign the documents in the event that the delegations of the Russian Federation and Ukraine reach agreements.”Peskov stressed.
He added that changes in the composition of the Russian delegation at the negotiations with Ukraine “are not under consideration.”

According to the results of the meeting, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umyerov said that the parties discussed a ceasefire, humanitarian issues, as well as the possibility of holding a meeting at the level of heads of state.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Heorhiy Tyhiy, during a conversation with journalists in Istanbul, noted that “the Russian delegation expressed a number of things that we consider unacceptable”, but refused to clarify the details.
