The mass media write that there is even a small trampoline in Burbok's office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock visited the Lente prosthetics workshop in Leverkusen, and then devoted some time to her passion – jumping on a trampoline. The company, which manufactures prostheses, is located right on the sports grounds of the Leverkusen club Bayer 04, informs PICTURE.
During the visit, Burbock had the opportunity to meet the world record holder in the long jump, the German Paralympian Markus Rehm, who is currently preparing for the Paralympic Games in Paris. Rem gave her a short trampoline lesson. However, the instruction may have been unnecessary, as 24 years ago Burbock was a professional trampoline jumper and even won bronze at the 1999 German Championships.
After the instruction, Burbok showed off her skills by performing somersaults, which caused the admiration of the audience. According to BILD’s sources, Burbock’s office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs even has a small trampoline that she uses from time to time to keep fit and relieve stress.
Burbok runs regularly and does not forget about physical activity even during official visits. In Leverkusen, she had a pair of leggings with her, and a sports T-shirt was given to her on the spot.
This visit demonstrated not only her serious attitude to support the German prosthetics industry and Paralympians, but also her active approach to life and ability to find time for her hobbies even in a busy schedule of government activities.
