The Ministry of Agrarian Policy has launched the eLivestock service

On October 10, 2024, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine officially launched a new service “eLivestock”, aimed at simplifying processes in the field of breeding livestock. This service will facilitate the procedures for assigning statuses to subjects of breeding activity, approbation and registration of breeding achievements in the field of animal husbandry. About launch reported Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Vitaly Koval in his Telegram channel.

According to the minister, the “eLivestock” service will be a tool that will ensure transparency of decisions and access to the general registry of agricultural animal breeds registered in Ukraine.

To obtain status in the tribal case, farmers can submit an electronic application through the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy in the “livestock” section. After entering the relevant information into the register, the applicant will receive an official extract. A similar procedure applies to the approval and registration of breeding achievements, such as new breeds, types or lines of farm animals, including imported species.

The minister emphasized that the digitalization of the agricultural sector is ongoing, and new online tools are designed to make the work of farmers more convenient, efficient and fast.

Previously, the electronic system “eRyba” was also implemented in Ukraine, which regulates management and control in industrial fishing, continuing the trend towards digitalization of agro-industrial processes.
